Get a Free Symbol List for Any Market — Crypto, Stocks, ETFs & Forex

Sometimes you don't need a clever screen — you just need the list. Every symbol in a market, clean and current, to seed a TradingView watchlist, feed a backtest, set a bot's universe, or just see what's actually tradeable right now.

Most places make you scrape an exchange page, stitch together a CSV, or pay for an API. Sortefi hands you any market's entire symbol universe for free — one plain-English prompt, exported and ready to paste into your charting platform. No formulas, no CSV wrangling. This post gives you the exact prompts.

The whole universe, in one prompt

Pick a market from the dropdown, type the prompt, and Sortefi returns every symbol it tracks in that market. These listing queries run straight off our catalog — so they're instant and completely free (they don't even use up a free prompt).

MarketType this promptYou get
Crypto Perpsall coinsEvery active perpetual (~760) across Binance, Bybit and HyperLiquid, grouped by exchange.
US Stocksall US stocksThe full US equity universe (~3,300) across NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX.
ETFsall ETFsEvery US-listed ETF we track (~2,400).
Forexall forex pairsAll 66 curated FX pairs — majors, minors and emerging-market crosses.
India Stocksall Indian stocksThe full list of NSE-listed stocks. Swap in “all ETFs” or “all indices” for those instead.

That's the shortcut for the full list. The prompt just has to read like a listing request — list all stocks, show me all forex pairs, and give me every coin all work the same way. Add any real condition (RSI below 30, PE under 15) and Sortefi switches from “list everything” to “filter” automatically.

Crypto: slice by exchange or recency

For crypto perps you can narrow the full list without writing a filter — by exchange, or by how recently a coin listed:

  • all coins on BybitOnly Bybit-listed perps.
  • all symbols on BinanceOnly Binance perps.
  • new listings in the last 30 daysPerps that went live in the past month.
  • coins listed this weekThe newest additions — the last 7 days.

The India market folds stocks, ETFs and indices together, so name which one you want: all Indian stocks, all ETFs, or all indices.

Every list is TradingView-ready

A list is only useful if you can act on it. Every symbol Sortefi returns already carries its exchange prefix, so it imports straight into TradingView:

MarketExport line
Crypto PerpsBINANCE:BTCUSDT.P
US EquityNASDAQ:AAPL
India EquityNSE:RELIANCE
ForexFX_IDC:EURUSD
ETFAMEX:SPY

Two ways to move a list over:

  • Copy — copies the full list to your clipboard to paste anywhere.
  • Download — saves a .txt you import into TradingView as a watchlist (open the watchlist menu → Upload list… → pick the file).

Don't want the whole list? Describe what you want.

The full universe is the starting point. Most of the time you want a subset — the names that match an idea. That's the same box: instead of “all US stocks”, describe the setup and Sortefi scans live data and returns just the matches.

Prompt: crypto perps with RSI below 30 on H4

Oversold coins on the 4-hour, not the whole board.

Prompt: US stocks with PE below 15 and ROE above 20% on daily

Value + quality in one line.

Prompt: Nifty 500 stocks within 10% of their 52-week low

Beaten-down NSE names, ranked and finite.

Prompt: top 20 US stocks by 1-month gain that closed above their 50-day high yesterday

A ranked momentum-breakout list.

You can even start broad and narrow down: pull a list, then chain the next filter onto it — “of these, only ones with PE below 15” — without rescanning the whole market.

Grab your list

Open Sortefi, pick a market, and type all coins, all US stocks, or all forex pairs. The full list comes back in a second — free, and ready to export. Then try describing a real setup and watch it filter down to exactly what you meant.
